By Emmanuel Oladele - Ajax Defender Calvin Bassey, OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi and Rivers United Goalkeeper Sochima Victor are the latest arrivals in the camp of the Nigeria Super Eagles this morning. It was Moffi and Sochima who arrived first before Bassey clocked in.
The Super Eagles confirmed the arrival of the trio on their official twitter handle in a post which reads as follows; "Update: Bassey just clocked in. 18 players in camp now. Akpoguma, Aribo, Lookman, Iwobi, Ajayi, Aniagboso, Uzoho, Ndidi, Bameyi, Omeruo, Onyeka, Simon, Onuachu, Osayi, Musa, Moffi, Sochima, Bassey."
See the list of all invited players below; The Super Eagles will face Guinea-Bissau in the first leg at the National Stadium in Abuja on Friday 24th March, 2023, before the reverse fixture which hold at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau on Monday 27th March, 2023.
The José Peseiro's led side currently top Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with six points after two games, while Guinea-Bissau are second with four points. Sierra Leone and São Tomé are third and fourth with one and no point respectively.
