Official: Tinubu declared Winner of 2023 Presidential Election

By Emmanuel Oladele - Former Governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria, he defeated close rivals, Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) to emerge the President elect for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

After the collation of election results, Tinubu scored a total of 8,794,726 votes, ahead of Atiku and Peter Obi who scored 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 respectively. On the other hand Rabiu Kwankwanso scored a total votes of 1,496,687 to come fourth in the 2023 Presidential Election held on Saturday 25th of February, 2023.

18 Candidates contested in the 2023 Presidential Election and Bola Ahmed Tinubu having recorded majority votes in all 36 States including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been declared winner of the 2023 Presidential Election by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman Mahmood Yakubu in the early hours of Wednesday 1st of March 2023.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the President Elect for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
