Super Falcons get first win against Costa Rica after Six Consecutive Defeats

By Emmanuel Oladele - The super Falcons of Nigeria on Tuesday's night got their first win against Costa Rica in the Revelations Cup currently going on in Mexico. Esther Okoronkwo scored from a close range to get Nigeria their first win after six consecutive defeats, which comprises of both friendlies and competitive games.

During the Revelations Cup, the Super Falcons of Nigeria lost all their previous two games against Mexico and Colombia, before recording a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica on Tuesday.

The Revelations Cup is aimed at preparing the participants for the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Revelations Cup participating teams are; Nigeria, Colombia, Costa Rica and host Mexico.
