Oluwasegun Olalere score in Remo Stars 1-1 draw against Plateau United

By Emmanuel Oladele - Remo Stars defender Oluwasegun Olalere scored in his side 1-1 draw with Fidelis Ilechuckwu's Plateau United on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 7.

Olelere pounced on a save from Chinedu off a freekick to put the Ikenne based team ahead in the 38th minutes of the first half, and to end the first half 1-0 in favour of the host.

In the early minutes of the second half, Mustapha Ibrahim Yuga got the equaliser for the Visitors in the 49th minutes of the keenly contested encounter which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Today's goal is the first Competitive goal for Olalere in the colour of Remo Stars SC. The defender has been brilliant in the back line for the Daniel Ogunmodede's led side since joining the team in the summer.

At the end of regulation time, it's Remo Stars 1-1 Plateau United, so it ended at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Nigeria.
