By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea have removed Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from the squad that will represent the club in the knockout stage of the 2022/23 season of the UEFA Champions League, which kicks off on February 14.
Meanwhile, winter signing trio of João Félix, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Enzo Fernández have been added to the squad.
Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the news in a tweet which reads as follows; "Official: João Félix, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Enzo Fernández have been added to Chelsea Champions League squad.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been taken out of the squad."
Also, £35m signing Benoit Badiashile did not also make the list as Chelsea can only register a total of three new players, the defender joined the Blues last month.
Chelsea will start their UEFA Champions League knockout campaign against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday February 15th at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.
