2023 U-17 AFCON: Nigeria draw South Africa, two others in Group B, see Full Draw Results

By Emmanuel Oladele - In the draw for the 2023 TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations held on Thursday in Algeria, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have drawn South Africa, Zambia and Morocco in Group B. The group seems to be the toughest of all the three groups for the upcoming tournament.

Meanwhile, Group A has Algeria, Senegal, Congo and Somalia, while Group C has Cameroon, Mali, South Sudan and Burkina Faso. See Draw Results in Full below;

The tournament will hold in Algeria between April 29th and May 19th, 2023, and three stadiums will host the tournament, they are; Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers, Chahid Hamlaoui in Constantine and 19-Mai-1956 Stadium in Annaba. The tournament will feature 12 Nations for the first time.

The four semi-finalists from the tournament will qualify for the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru, which hold from November 10 to December 2, 2023.
