One NPFL Game will go ahead this Weekend, Others are Postponed

By Emmanuel Oladele - Following the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) meeting with the NPFL Interim Management Committee (IMC) and Club Owners, it has been agreed that Nine games of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 1 will be postponed to next weekend, while the only matchday 1 that will hold is the fixture between Akwa United and Bendel Insurance at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo hold this weekend.

This is not a shift in the opening date of NPFL 2022/23 season, but only nine matchday 1 games were postponed.
