By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea have completed the signing of Benoit Badiashile from Monaco for €38m. The defender signed a seven and half year deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until June 2030.
The words of the 21-year-old Frenchman after signing for the Blues, "I’m very happy to be here at Chelsea. I’m so excited to start playing for this club."

Chelsea Owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali jointly speaks after the move, "He's an excellent player. We are sure Benoit will form an important part of our team in the years ahead."
The French International Benoit Badiashile will be a good addition to Chelsea defence that has seriously lost values due to injuries to many key defenders like Wesley Fofana, Reece James and Ben Chilwell.
Benoit Badiashile is Chelsea's second winter signing after the £10m signing of Ivorian Forward David Datro Fofana from Norwegian side Molde.
