FA Cup: Man United thrash Everton, progress to next round

By Emmanuel Oladele - Manchester United on Friday night thrashed struggling Everton side by 3-1 in the English FA Cup Third Round to advance into the fourth round of the 2022/23 season edition of the FA Cup.

Antony opened scoring for United in the early minutes of the game with a superb strike in the 4th minute, but 10 minutes later Conor Coady got an equaliser for Everton to take the scoreline to 1-1 before half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the second half, an own goal from Everton defender Conor Coady restored Manchester United lead, before Marcus Rashford spot kick in the added time sealed the victory for the Erik ten Hag's led side on Friday. See detailed Result below;
