Carabao Cup Semi-Finals: First Leg Results & Details of Second Leg Fixtures

By Emmanuel Oladele - The first leg of the two semi-final games of the English Football League (Carabao Cup) have been played on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the first semi-final on Tuesday, Manchester United thrashed Nottingham Forest by 3-0 at the City Ground, to earn a great advantage ahead of the second leg.

In the second semi-final on Wednesday, Newcastle United defeated Southampton by 1-0 at St. Mary's Stadium, and the Magpies will be going into the second leg at St. James' Park with a 1-0 advantage. See detailed Results of the semi-finals below;
