Les Bleus will now take on Argentina in the final after Lionel Messi powered them to a resounding win over Croatia.
It wasn't the stylish, thrilling march to the final that saw France's rivals Argentina vanquish Croatia 3-0 on Tuesday. But it was a clinical, decisive win. France are headed into their second FIFA World Cup final in a row after they won it in 2018.
Meanwhile, France president Emmanuel Macron visited Morocco’s dressing room after the game and told Sofyan Amrabat that he has been “the best midfielfer of the tournament” in front of all the squad.
Sofyan Amrabat has been a warrior for the Moroccan team and has been identified as a top target for clubs.
