By Emmanuel Oladele - Brazilian and Tottenham forward Richarlison has returned from the world cup with a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old was substituted before regulation time in quarter-final game where Brazil lost to Croatia in penalty shootout after picking up a knock.
After returning with hamstring injury to Tottenham, the Brazilian is expected to spend up to three to four weeks on the sideline.
Initial speculation revealed that the world cup star will be out of action for six weeks, but the recent scan revealed it will now be for three to four weeks.
Tottenham manager Antonio has also confirmed the player's injury update, "I spoke with the medical department.
"They said to me we need three or four weeks still," the Italian revealed.
Richarlison will miss Tottenham boxing day premier league matchday 17 game against Brentford, other premier league fixtures against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, also the FA Cup third round cracker with Portsmouth on January 7th, but could return for premier league matchday 20 action against Arsenal on January 15.
