TFF Congratulate Nigeria for Flamingos' FIFA U17 WWC Semi-final Feat

By Emmanuel Oladele - Following the victory of Nigeria U17 National Women's Football Team on Friday against the United States, which earned the Nigeria's Flamingos the first ever semi-final appearance in FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has congratulated Nigeria for the semi-final feat.

The TFF took to their official Twitter handle on Friday to congratulate Nigeria in a Graphics post which read as follows; "CONGRATULATIONS Nigeria for making it to the semi-final of the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in India."

Recall, the Nigeria's Flamingos beat their United States Counterparts  by 4-3 on penalties after playing a 1-1 draw in regular time in the quarter-final on Friday to reach the semi-final.

Meanwhile, Tanzania U17 Women's Football Team will face Colombia at 12:00WAT today in another quarter-final game. A win for Tanzania will see them face Nigeria in the semi-final.
