Nigeria's Goalie Uzoho put up a Creditable Performance against Man United in Europa League

By Emmanuel Oladele - Nigeria's Super Eagles and Omonia Nicosia Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was at his best on Thursday night for his Cyprus side Omonia in their UEFA Europa League matchday 4 Game against Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Nigerian put up a creditable performance lauded by fans and journalists during and after the game.

Uzoho made several saves in the night and only conceded in the 93rd minute via McTominay's strike, which earned Manchester United a 1-0 win on Thursday's night. McTominay's strike was United's 34th attempt on goal.

The 23-year-old did well enough to have prevented efforts from Marcus Rashford, Antony, Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro from counting.

Uzoho after a brilliant outing won the Man of the Match, in a game that has several Manchester United's Stars on the pitch.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag to Uzoho after the game, "I said well done (to Uzoho). He had many many saves."

"He kept them (Omonia) in the Game."
