Joseph Aribo's Southampton held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in Matchday 13

By Emmanuel Oladele - Joseph Aribo's Southampton on Sunday held League Leaders Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in premier league matchday 13 at Saint Mary's Stadium.

Granit Xhaka opened scoring for Arsenal in the 11th minute of the first half to end the first half 1-0 in favour of the Gunners. In the 65th minute of the game, Stuart Armstrong got Southampton equaliser to keep the scoreline at 1-1 till the end of the game.

Super Eagles midfielder Joseph Aribo started the game for 'The Saints' but made way for Che Adams in the 73rd minute after making a remarkable impact in the game.

Southampton now maintained 15th position on the log as Arsenal continue to top the premier league log, but are now just two point clear of Manchester City who occupies the second position.
