By Emmanuel Oladele - The Super Falcons of Nigeria were beaten by their Japanese Counterparts on Tuesday in an International friendly at the Noevir Stadium in Kobe, Mina Tanaka's brace condemned the Nigerian side to a 2-0 defeat.
After a goalless first half, the second half resumes with Japan getting more of the goal scoring chances, eventually, Nigeria conceded a free-kick in a dangerous area and Mina Tanaka connected well to Hikaru Naomoto Free-kick, beat Nnadozie to give Japan a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute.
Four minutes later, the Super Falcons conceded a Penalty as Ohale fouled a Japan player in her own area. The penalty was taken by Mina Tanaka, well placed and sending Nigeria Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie to a wrong direction to complete her brace in the game. See details below;
