2022 FIFA U17 WWC: Nigeria's Flamingos arrive Mumbai for USA

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Nigeria U17 National Women's Football Team, the Flamingos have arrived Mumbai in the earlier hours of Wednesday ahead of their India 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup quarter-final fixture against the United States on Friday. Since arriving in Mumbai, the Bankole Olowookere's led side has settle in a new abode, Fortune Hotel.

The Super Falcons official Twitter handle confirmed Flamingos arrival in Mumbai in a post which reads as follows; "✋Salaam Mumbai! Our Flamingos touched down 🛬 earlier today ahead of our quarterfinal duel with the United States 🇺🇸 on Friday. We have already settled at our new abode, Fortune Hotel 🏨

Here to make history!"

The Nigeria U17 will face the United States in the quarter-final on Friday at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The kickoff time is 12:00 noon Nigeria Time (+1 GMT).

Recall, the Nigerian side beat Chile by 2-1 on Monday in their final group game to book a quarter-final place with USA. The flamingos will hope to go beyond the quarter-final in the 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup to break their record of previous quarter-final place finish.
