2022 FIFA U17 WWC: Nigeria's Flamingos humiliate New Zealand to get first win

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Nigeria U17 National Women's Team, the Flamingos on Friday walloped their Counterparts from New Zealand by 4-0 in the ongoing 2022 FIFA Women's World Cup in India to get Nigeria's first win of the tournament.

Goals from Amina Bello, Miracle Usani, Afolabi and Edidiong Etim in the 16th, 34th, 75th and 95th minutes condemned New Zealand to a heavy defeat in matchday 2. See details below;

On the other hand, New Zealand are on their way out of the tournament after losing two of their three group games. A win in their last group game may not guarantee them a place in the quarter-finals as they have conceded so many goals.
