2022 FIFA U17 WWC: Nigeria's Flamingos arrive India, Settle Down at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Goa

By Emmanuel Oladele - It's three days to the kickoff of India 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, Nigeria's Flamingos players and officials have arrived India from Turkey where they had 10 days camping, before heading to India for the tournament which kicks off on Tuesday October 11th.

The team arrived Goa, India on Friday after a five hours stopover in Mumbai. The Nigeria's Super Falcons confirmed Flamingos arrival in India on their Twitter Handle, in a tweet which reads as follows; Hello India! Our sisters, Flamingos have arrived Goa for #U17WWC after a five-hour stopover in Mumbai, India. Players and officials have since settled down at Grand Hyatt Hotel. Let's go for glory!'

For the upcoming India 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, Nigeria is in Group B alongside, Germany, New Zealand and Chile.

The Bankole Olowookere's led side will kick off their 2022 World Cup campaign with Germany on Tuesday 11th October 2022, at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, before facing New Zealand and Chile in their subsequent Group games.

The India 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup will hold from 11-30 October 2022, and a total of 32 games will be played in the tournament. It's the 7th edition of the tournament.
