Rivers United FC of Portharcourt will face Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club in the second preliminary round of 2022/23 season CAF Champions League first leg on Sunday 9th October, 2022.

The venue is Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Portharcourt, Nigeria. The kickoff time is 16:00 West Africa Time. Gate fee is free.

Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is injured and out of Nigeria's Upcoming Friendly game against Algeria on Tuesday.

The Leicester City midfielder who was in Nigeria team's camp in Constantine has left for England.

Zambia National Women's Team, Copper Queens will face Netherlands senior Women's side on Thursday 6th April, 2022 in an International friendly.

Both Zambia and Netherlands have qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.


07:30 - Conte linked with a shock return to Juventus

Reports in Italy this morning revealed that Juventus are on the verge of sacking manager Massimiliano Allegri following his disappointing start to the 2022/23 season. The club is said to be considering Tottenham manager Antonio Conte for the position.

The 53-year-old managed the team between 2011-2014. The rumour is becoming a threat to Tottenham fans as Conte is yet to sign a contract extension at the north London club, his current contract expires at the end of this campaign.

Top teams in the premier league namely; Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and City are all in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham. The four side will have to battle another top La Liga side Real Madrid who also have strong interest in the player.

Report claims that Dortmund want at least £130m for the Englishman. The midfielder will become the all-time most expensive English players if a deal goes through, surpassing the £100m record signing of Jack Grealish to Manchester City.
