By Emmanuel Oladele - England Manager Gareth has dropped five players of his 28-man squad against Italy in the UEFA Nations league which hold later this evening. The manager required to bring down his matchday squad from 28 to 23 he's eligible to use during the game, hence, the following players have been dropped from the Three Lions' matchday squad against Italy, they are;
Ivan Toney, Ben Chilwell, Marc Guehi, John Stones and Jordan Henderson.
Initially, the duo of Henderson and Stone were on suspension for tonight UEFA Nations League fixture, and might be the major reason while they were part of the five that were dropped from the matchday squad.
Meanwhile, Brentford Ivan Toney who was expected to make his Lions' debut tonight will not be in action, and will have to wait for Monday fixture against Germany.
England will face Italy this evening in the UEFA Nations League at 19:45 WAT (+1 GMT)
