By Emmanuel Oladele - Nigeria's sole representative in the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League Bayelsa Queens FC on Wednesday thrashed Espoir FC (Hope FC) of Benin Republic by 6-0 in the Semi-final of 2022 CAF Women's Champions League WAFU B Zone, and the Nigerian side now through to the final.
Chinyere Igbomalu scored twice in each half and a goal each from Kafayat Bashiru, Edet Glory, Etim Edidiong and Mary Anjor in the second half were enough to sink the Benin Republic based Espoir FC in the semi-final. See details below;

The Nigerian side will now face AMPEM Ladies FC in the final of the Competition on Saturday September 3rd. Recall, AMPEM Ladies of Ghana beat Africa Sports of Côte d'Ivoire in the first semi-final game on penalties by 6-5 after the scoreline remained 1-1 after extra time.
The winner of the final game between Bayelsa Queens and AMPEM Ladies FC will qualify for the 2022/23 CAF Women's Champions League Competition in Morocco.
Meanwhile, Africa Sports and Espoir FC will clash in a third place game also on Saturday September 3rd.
