By Emmanuel Oladele - Following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, 19-year-old Sevilla forward Inma Gabarro has emerged the tournament's top scorer with eight goals and has won the golden boot award in the just concluded tournament. She also won the tournament's silver ball.
Tournament's golden ball winner, Maika Hamano is the second top scorer, the Japanese scored four goals to her credit.
Japan forward Yuzuki Yamamoto won the bronze boot with three goals despite having same number of goals with some other players on the top scorers chart. The Japanese edged those other players to Bronze boot after emerging as the player with the highest number of assists among players that scored three goals each.
