2022 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup: Nigeria's Falconets beat France in Group C Opener

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Nigeria U20 Women's National Team defeated their French Counterparts in the early hours of today in Group C first game of the ongoing 2022 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica, San José. Flourish Chioma Sebastine 85th minute strike separated both sides.

Flourish Sebastine received a through pass from Mercy Idoko inside France area, sending a well placed low shot past French Goalkeeper Petiteau. France scored earlier before Nigeria's goal, but was disallowed after VAR Check. See detailed result below;
