By Emmanuel Oladele - Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Champions Bayelsa Queens on Wednesday played a goalless draw with Ghanaian side AMPEM Ladies in CAF Women's Champions League (WAFU Zone B) Group B matchday 2.
After a 5-0 thrashing of Athleta FC of Togo in their first game game on Sunday, the Bayelsa State team failed to score in the thrilling encounter against Ghana's AMPEM Ladies.
The Nigerian side still top Group B with 4 points from two games, Ghana's AMPEM Ladies also has four points but Bayelsa Queens are better on goal difference.
The Prosperity Girls next game will be against USFA of Burkina Faso. In another Group B game on Wednesday, USFA FC thrashed Athleta FC of Togo by 5-1 to maintain their third spot on Group B log, while Athleta FC have been eliminated despite their one game at hand.
