UEFA Women's EURO 2022: Results of Games Played on Monday, Goalscorers and Group A Standings

By Oladele Emmanuel - Two games were played in England 2022 UEFA Women's EURO on Monday. At the Falmer Stadium, England whitewashed Norway by 8-0. Arsenal foward Beth Mead and Manchester City Ellen White scored a hat-trick and a brace that wrecked the Norwegians in the thrilling encounter. Georgia Stanway, Lauren Hemp and Alessia Russo also recorded their names on the score sheet to give the Three Lionesses a record win over Norway.

In the second game of the day, Austria defeated North Ireland by 2-0, goals from Katharina Schiechti and Katharina Elisa Naschenweng in the 19th and 88th minute made the difference at the St. Mary Stadium. See details below;
