NNL: Bendel Insurance, Doma United FC Gain Promotion to NPFL

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Nigeria National League duo of Bendel Insurance of Benin and Doma United FC of Gombe have gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Bendel Insurance of Benin gained promotion following Vandrezzer FC 3-1 defeat of second placed Gateway FC of Abeokuta in a matchday 20 clash in Lagos on Thursday morning. The Benin based team picked Southern Conference B1 sole ticket.

Doma United beat another promotion contenders Jigawa Golden Stars by 2-0 to stay eight points clear of their matchday 20 opponents Jigawa Golden Stars. The Gombe based team picked Northern Conference A2 only ticket with two games to spare.

Two more tickets up for grabs, from North Conference A1 and South Conference B2
