By Emmanuel Oladele - MFM FC of Lagos have been relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after spending six years in the topflight league.
The Olukoya Boys got relegated on Sunday evening following their 2-1 home loss to Niger Tornadoes in NPFL matchday 36. Before the game, they were at the bottom of the log, a loss to Niger Tornadoes confirmed their exit from the Nigeria Professional Football League. MFM FC got just 36 points from 36 games, which were not enough to secure their stay in the topflight league
The Church team will play in the Nigeria National League (NNL) next season.
