By Emmanuel Oladele - After the first round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifiers, 12 teams have qualified for the second round which is also the final round for the qualifier. The 12 Teams are; Angola, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Congo DR, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal, South Sudan, Tunisia and Uganda.
The 12 team have been divided into two Group, E and F.
Group E has Cape Verde, Nigeria, Uganda, Côte d'Ivoire, Angola and Guinea.
Group F has South Sudan, Tunisia, Cameroon, Egypt, Congo DR and Senegal.
Two teams will qualify from each group and the best third place team will also qualify for the competition, as five teams will represent Africa in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Note that all first round results have been carried over to second round.
The second round of the qualifiers will hold between August 26th, 2022 and February 26th, 2023.
