By Emmanuel Oladele - Despite Senegal and Botswana defeats in the quarterfinals of the ongoing 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations, both teams are heading to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup but will need to win in the Repechage phase to enter inter-confederation playoffs.
Senegal and Botswana will be playing in the Repechage phase on Sunday 17th July in Morocco. In the Repechage phase, the four losers of the quarterfinals will face off, two winners will emerge and will advance to the inter-confederation playoffs, a world cup qualifier involving teams from other confederation.
