WAFU 17 Semi Finals: Nigeria Face Côte d' Ivoire, as Burkina Faso play Ghana, See Date and Time

By Emmanuel Oladele - The final Group B Games of WAFU B U17 were concluded on Saturday and the semi finals pairing has been decided. Nigeria who won Group A will face Cote d' Ivoire who finished as Group B Runner-up, while Burkina Faso as Group B Winners will play Ghana in the second Semifinal on Tuesday. See details below;

WAFU U17 Semi Finals Details in Nigeria Time

Tuesdays 21st June 2022

• Nigeria vs Cote d'Ivoire 5:00PM (Nig. Time)

• Burkina Faso vs Ghana 8:30PM (Nig. Time)

Recall, in the final Group B games that were played on Saturday, Burkina Faso stunned Côte d' Ivoire by 4-2, while Niger defeated Benin by 3-1. Following Saturday's Results, Benin and Niger have been eliminated, while Burkina Faso and Côte d' Ivoire progressed to the semi finals.

In Group A, Nigeria and Ghana also made it to the semi-final thereby eliminating Togo. See Group Log below for A and B after the conclusion of the Group Stage;

The two finalists in the WAFU B U17 Championship will qualify for 2023 CAF U17 Nations Cup which hold in Algeria early next year, while the four Semi Finalists in the Nations Cup will represent Africa in the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru.
