By Emmanuel Oladele - The Camp of the Nigeria's Super Falcons continues to bubble as 28 players are now in Camp ahead of the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Leicester City defender Ashleigh Plumptre top the list of the new arrivals, other two are; Francisca Ordega and Halimatu Ayinde. The arrived the team camp in Abuja on Tuesday.
Team Coach Randy Waldrum is expected to release the final list of 23 players that will represent Nigeria in Morocco before the end of this week.
Also, Chinwedu Vera Ihezuo and Desire Oparanozie have pulled out of the squad due to border restrictions. Both players plays their club football in China. Meanwhile, The Duo of Ana Imo and Ngozi Okobi have been called up to replace Oparanozie and Ihezuo respectively.
Nigeria is in Group C alongside South Africa, Burundi and Botswana. The Super Falcons will play their opening game on July 4 against South Africa in Rabat.
The Morocco 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on July 2, in two Cities, Rabat and Casablanca.
