Real Madrid 3-1 Man City: Real Madrid Produce one of the Most Dramatic Comebacks in the History of UEFA Champions League

By Emmanuel Oladele - Real Madrid have produced one of the most dramatic comebacks in the history of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday's night, they defeated Manchester City by 3-1 (6-5 on aggregate) in a thrilling UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, and they are through to the final of the competition which holds in Paris on May 28.

Real Madrid were on the exit door of the competition as Manchester City were leading by 1-0 (5-3 on aggregate) in yesterday's games. The drama that turns Real Madrid situation began in the final minute of regular time when super sub Rodrygo poked home Benzema Cross. A minute later, it was the Brazilian again who completed the comeback for Real Madrid with a superb header, leaving the scoreline in 5-5 on aggregate. Recall, the first leg ended 3-2 in favour of City.

The Galacticos forced the game into extra time where Diaz brought down Benzema in his own box in the first half of the extra time, the referee pointed directly to the spot. A penalty taken by Benzema sent Ederson to a wrong direction. It was a superb night for the Galacticos after completing a miraculous comeback, went all the way to get the victory. They won the Second leg by 3-1, and are through to the final with a 6-5 on aggregate scoreline.

Real Madrid will now face Liverpool in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League final which hold in Paris on May 28. Recall, Liverpool defeated Villarreal by 5-2 on aggregate in the second semi-final.

Congratulations to Real Madrid, it was a well deserved victory.
