In Portharcourt, River United walloped MFM FC, 5-0 it ended in favour of the home side. Defending Champions Akwa United and Enyimba International shared spoils in Uyo, following a 1-1 draw.

Plateau United hope of lifting the 2021/22 NPFL trophy continues to fade as they were handed yet another defeat in matchday 27, they are now seven points behind league leaders Rivers United.
