After a goalless first half, Brazilian forward Richarlison opened scoring for Everton in the first minute of the second half. Azpilicueta takes too long in passing the ball away right on the edge of his own box, Richarlison dispossessed him of the ball, Gray picks it, sent it back to the Brazilian who calmly sent a low strike past Mendy and into the bottom right corner.
Chelsea dominated the entire game but was unable to find the back of the net, even with the additional seven minutes.
Despite the defeat, the Blues remains in the third position on the log with 66 points. Everton also remained in the 18th position with 32 points, but with a match at hand, and are now in good position to escape relegation. A win for the Lampard led side in their outstanding game against Watford at Vicarage Road on May 11 will put them in 16th position on the log.
After the entire game time, it's Everton 1-0 Chelsea. It was a good game for Frank Lampard beating his former team.
