Wikki Tourists FC Held to a Draw in Kaduna on Match Day 25 of the NPFL 22 Season

Relegation bound Heartland fc of Owerri today held Wikki Tourists fc to goalless draw at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna on match day 25 of the NPFL 22Season.

Match started at 4:08pm with the home team making the first kick by Akpo Godwin.

Soon after wards Wikki began filing pressure on the visitors and in fifth minutes Abubakar Aliyu fouled in the yard box for what the Wikki Tourists players expected to be a spot kick which was ruled out by the referee.

Abubakar Aliyu was on hand again in the 38minutes when he headed home Nelson's free kick but the AR1 pointed to  the Offside position and Wikki players protested the decision for some moments.

The first half later ended at the expiration of three minutes added time.

Some changes were made in the second half by both teams strengthening their teams and perfecting their game plans for positive result.

The pressure by Wikki Tourists almost yielded the needed result in the 85th minutes when Oluwale Tolulope benefitted from a goal mouth scramble but hastly ballooned the ball off the net.

The five added minutes could not give Wikki Tourists the needed home win while Heartland jubilated when the final whistle was blown.

Despite the negative result today Wikki Tourists still maintains it's tenth position on the log with 35 points from 25 games.
