NPFL/LA LIGA U-15 Tourney: Seven Star 3SC Wallop Enyimba 7-1, Secure Quarter Final Slot

By Tosin Omojola - Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan U-15 team on Monday, produced a sparkling performance, beating their Enyimba FC of Aba counterpart 7-1 in a Group Na match of the 2022 NPFL/LALIGA U-15 Tournament.

While the 3SC main team was busy hammering Enyimba's main team in a NPFL matchday 25 encounter in Ibadan, the cadet team was busy dealing ruthlessly with the Peoples' Elephants kids at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

Abass Abubakar opened the floodgate of goals for the young Oluyole Warriors before Mustapha Abioye added the second to give 3SC a 2-0 lead into the break.

The young Elephants were completely roasted in the second d half as Walilou Busari hit the third after which Aliu Olatunde scored a brace to make it five nil before Basit Jimoh and Ajayi Samuel completed the rout with the sixth and seventh goal.

Enyimba's consolatory goal was scored by Ogunfile Daniel.

The results leaves the 3SC young team joint top of the group with Katsina United, who had also secured three points at the expense of Enyimba.

Both sides will clash on Thursday at 4.00pm, to determine the group's winner, having already booked their places in the quarter final.
