Moments WWE Wrestler Speaks Yoruba at Royal Rumble

By Olamide Oyetunji - World Wrestling Entertainment had their annual Royal Rumble as the second Pay-Per-View event for the year with 30 superstars competing for a ticket to WrestleMania main event.


Lagos-born wrestler Jordan Omogbehin popularly known as Omos participated in the rumble for the first time in his young wrestling career as entrance number 11. The 7ft 3in current tallest wrestler on the WWE roaster did his best in the Men event of the Royal Rumble match which was won dramatically by Brock Lesnar. Omos went into the Rumble match determined as he gallantly bullied Austin Theory, Angelo Dawkins, AJ Styles, Montez Ford and Ricochet.
An unforgettable moment took place in the match when Omos spoke in "Yoruba", a Nigerian native dialect.


Omos pointed at AJ Styles and Ricochet with the word "Iwo" which means "You" during the match.
The Nigerian eliminated Street Profits duo of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford while the United States champion Damian Priest also suffered the same fate. However, his domination was cut short by the collective efforts of six superstars including Omos former Tag team partner AJ Styles.
