Details of Super Eagles Next Two Games

By Emmanuel Oladele -  After Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 exit, the Super Eagles will travel to sub-saharan country Ghana for their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier Third Round (Play-off) first leg. The game which holds at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in Ghana will see the two West African Countries rerenewing their rivalry in the Round Leather Game.


The 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier Third Round (Play-off) is a two legged tie, the first leg of the fixture holds on Wednesday 23rd March, 2022, while the second leg takes place at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday 29th March, 2022. The winner of the two legged tie will join other four teams that will represent Africa in the upcoming FIFA World Cup holding in Qatar.

• Venue: MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, Nigeria.

The two fixtures will be another major test for the Super Eagles Interim Manager Augustine Eguavoen who was retained by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after Super Eagles' Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 exit. News update from the Glass House also revealed that Eguavoen will now be assisted by former Nigerian International Emmanuel Amuneke.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to hold between 21st November and 18th December 2022 in Qatar.
