By Emmanuel Oladele - The prize money for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has been revealed. The winners will go home with $50M, Runners-up takes $2.75m, Semi-finalists pockets $2.2M, while Quarter-finalists earn $1.175m.

• Winners - $5M - N2,066,050,000.00
• Runners-up - $2.75M - N1,136,327,500.00
• Semi-finalists - $2.2M - N909,062,000.00
• Quarter-finalists earn $1.175m - N485,521,750.00
All 24 teams that participated in the tournament will pocket N250,685,168.45.
