2022 FIFA WC Play-off Round Draw: Nigeria face Ghana, Senegal draw Egypt and More

By Emmanuel Oladele - In the 2022 FIFA World Cup Play-off Round draw held in Douala today, five top seeded teams in pot 1 were drawn against against other five ranked teams in pot 2 based on the latest FIFA Ranking.

Pot 1: Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and  Nigeria.

Pot 2: Egypt, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali and DR Congo.

PLAY-OFF ROUND DRAW RESULTS

• Egypt vs Senegal

• DR Congo vs Morocco

• Mali vs Tunisia

• Cameroon vs Algeria

• Ghana vs Nigeria

Each fixture will be played in a home-and-away tie, the winners of each fixture will qualify for 2022 FIFA World Cup which holds in Qatar. Five Teams will represent Africa in the tournament. The final round games are expected to hold between March 23-29, 2022.
