Good News for Nigerian Football as Osimhen Resumes Training ahead AFCON

By Emmanuel Oladele - There is a sigh of relief for Nigerian Football Fans as Super Eagles Striker Victor Osimhen resumes personal training after some days on the sideline.

The Nigeria International damage his cheekbone and eyes socket on the 21st of November after a collision in Napoli's Serie A game against Inter Milan, and was expected to stay out of action for at least three month, which makes him miss the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, but the 24-year-old has unexpectedly made quick recovery and have resumed personal training just within the first month of his lay-off.

Osimhen returning to training a month before the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations which kick off in January means, the Napoli forward will make the Super Eagles squad that will be representing Nigeria in the Tournament. Hence, this is a good news for Nigeria's Football, Osimhen is back.
