2021 AFCON: Six Players are now in Camp - Super Eagles

By Emmanuel Oladele - Ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, six players have arrived the Super Eagles' Camp in Abuja as at 10:00PM of Thursday. CSKA Moscow forward is the latest player to hit the Super Eagles' Camp.

The Super Eagles Official Facebook Page confirmed the names of all six players in camp in a post which reads as follows; "Update! Chidera Ejuke has arrived. 6 players in camp.  Chidera Ejuke(CSKA Moscow, Russia), Daniel Akpeyi(Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa), Sadiq Umar(UD Almeria, Spain), Olisa Ndah(Orlando Pirates, South Africa), John Noble(Enyimba FC), Taiwo Awoniyi(Union Berlin, Germany). #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong #AFCON2021"

28 players have been invited for the upcoming AFCON, six have arrived, 22 more are expected to join the Super Eagles' Camp today Friday and in days to come, below is the list of all invited 28 players for the tournament;

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, holds between January 9 to February 6, 2022 in Cameroon and Nigeria are in Group D alongside; Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan. The Super Eagles first game will be against Egypt on Tuesday 11th January, 2022, 17:00 Nigeria Time (+1 GMT).
