By Emmanuel Oladele - Watford inform Forward Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis has loud his call-up to the Super Eagles for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon, which kick off in January.
Recall, the Super Eagles interim manager Augustine Eguavoen released a list of final 28 players that fly the country's flag in Cameroon, and Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis was included in the list that has top premier league stars like; Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and 24 others. The Nigerian International took to his official Facebook page on Monday to talk about his invitation for AFCON, in a short post which reads as follows; "Proud to get a call up to represent my country
Naija boy ❤️🇳🇬 🦅." The 24-year-old suddenly becomes fans' favourite following his recent form with premier league club, Watford, Nigeria Football Fans can now be happy that their demand has been met following the invitation of the super forward. Dennis has so far scored 7 goals with 5 assists in the ongoing 2021/22 premier league season, making him one of the prolific strikers in the premier league.
Watford FC have also reacted to Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis' call-up, the club Congratulated the player on their official Facebook page and revealed the the call-up is 'well deserved'.

The upcoming AFCON holds between January 9 to February 6, 2022 in Cameroon and Nigeria are in Group D alongside; Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan. The Super Eagles first game will be against Egypt on Tuesday 11th January, 2022, 17:00 Nigeria Time (+1 GMT).
