Victor Moses helped Spartak Moscow beat Napoli in Europa League

By Emmanuel Oladele - Former Super Eagles forward Victor Moses was in action on Wednesday as he helped his club Spartak Moscow to a 2-1 win over Napoli in UEFA Europa League matchday 5 of 6.

Aleksandr Sobolev got an early goal for the Russia based team in the 3rd minute of the first half from the spot. 25 minutes later, 30-year-old former Chelsea right-back Victor Moses provided an assist for Aleksandr Sobolev's second goal of the evening to end the first half 2-0 in favour of the host.

Spartak Moscow were leading 2-0 in the second half before Elif Elmas pulled one back for the visitors in the 64th minute to end the game 2-1 in favour of the Victor Moses' Spartak Moscow on Wednesday night.

Victor Moses' compatriot Victor Osimhen was not in action for Napoli as he's currently recovering from the injury he sustained in the Serie A against Inter on Sunday. Nikolai Rasskazov replaced Moses in the 83rd minute.

Spartan Moscow now top Group C with 7 points after five games.
