Confirmed: Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr has not been Sacked

Contrary to the news going round the media that Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has been sacked or asked to resign by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF. The Organization Director of Communication, Mr. Ademola Olajire has debunked the news, that he's not aware of such development.

According to Ademola Olajire, "I’m not aware of Rohr’s sack because there are procedure for doing things at the federation. Before such decision could be taken, there will be a meeting of the NFF board and a release issued to the public.

"As for now, I’m not aware of the sack. The online platform you claimed reported the story cannot announce his sack without confirmation from the NFF," as quoted by sportingsun.com.

With the intense rumours of Rohr's sack on social media, no NFF official has confirmed the update.
