By Emmanuel Oladele - The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on Sunday 9th of January, 2022 in Cameroon. 24 teams will be competing for the most prestigious Africa Football Trophy in six groups. The Super Eagles of Nigeria as one of the 24 teams will be competing in Group D alongside Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will kick off their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday 11th January, 2022 against Egypt at Roumdé Adjia Stadium in Garoua, Cameroon, 18:00 Nigerian Time (+1 GMT), and subsequently play Sudan and Guinea-Bissau respectively. • Tue. 11/01/2021. Nigeria vs Egypt 16:00 - Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua.
• Sat. 15/01/2021. Nigeria vs Sudan 16:00 - Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua.
• Wed. 19/01/2021. Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria 21:00 - Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua.

The Gernot Rohr led side must win two of their group games or at least a win and a draw with good goal difference to proceed to the round of 16.
