By Emmanuel Oladele - Rivers United have appointed former Enyimba Head Coach Fatai Osho as their new Chief Coach. He will replace Ndubisi Nduka who has been promoted to the position of Technical Director.
Osho will work with Stanley Eguma who is current Technical Adviser of the team.
River United confirmed the update on their Official Social Media Page on Monday in a post which read as follows; "RIVERS UNITED CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT
Fatai Osho joins as our new Chief Coach
We're delighted to announce Fatai Osho has joined the club as our Chief Coach.
Fatai replaces Coach Ndubisi Nduka who has been elevated to the office of Technical Director."
Recall, Fatai Osho resigned recently as Enyimba head coach after qualifying the team for the CAF Confederation Cup and a third place finished in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2020/21 season.
Fatai Osho who has also coached Remo Stars is expected to bring his wealth of experience into the Technical Department of the Portharcourt based team.
