Qatar 2022 FIFA WCQ: Union Berlin Foward Awoniyi replaces injured Terem Moffi for CAR double-header

By Emmanuel Oladele - Nigfooty.com can report that Union Berlin of Germany forward, Taiwo Awoniyi has been invited into the Nigeria Super Eagles as a replacement for injured Lorient forward Terem Moffi for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying double-header against Central African Republic this week.

Terem Moffi was replaced shortly after he was announced earlier as replacement for injured Everton forward Alex Iwobi, but he Moffi has also gone on the sideline.

The Union Berlin forward, Awoniyi has been in wonderful form in the ongoing German Bundesliga season, he helped his club to a 2-1 away win over Mainz in the Bundesliga Matchday 7 over the weekend, scoring both goals for his side.

Awoniyi is expected to join other Super Eagles stars as the Super Eagles camp opens ahead of Central African Republic double-header in Lagos and Douala later this week.
