By Emmanuel Oladele - Nigerian International and Watford's Oghenekharo Peter Etebo has been ruled out for five months after suffering a serious injury in last weekend premier league game against Newcastle United. According to the team's report, the midfielder tore a quad muscle and will be out for between four to five months.
Watford made the announcement on their social media page on Thursday, which read as follows, "ℹ️ We can confirm Peter Etebo tore a quad muscle towards the end of the Newcastle United game last weekend and is expected to be out for between four to five months.
Best of luck in your recovery, Peter! 💛"
The Nigerian has also been omitted from the list of 23 Super Eagles of Nigeria that will engage Central African Republic in FIFA World Cup Qualifying double-header in Lagos and Douala respectively next week.
